About The Event
The Torchlight Parade is one of our most attended annual traditions.
Meet at the corner of 5th Street and 14th Ave or at the Fire Hall (5th Street and 1st Ave) to grab a fire lit torch given by the local Volunteer Firefighters. The two crowds walk together toward the lake down 5th Street in a ""river of light"" and meet on the peninsula of Lake Commando where used christmas trees, scrap wood, and the torches create a massive bonfire.
On the peninsula, The Lions Club, a local charitable organization, provides hot chocolate and hot dogs.
Fireworks and speeches will complete the evening.
